A Century of Remembrance |
In the early 2020's Tim Trevenna published an excellent book entitled "Who cares ?" about the men whose names appear on the village war memorial.
Tim is now in the process of updating the book and giving it a new name, "A Century of Remembrance".
Tim is seeking information in his appeal below.
During the last year I have posted a memorial on Facebook for each of the 61 men who appear on our war memorial at St. Dennis.
I have also suggested that those interested should take a look at ‘Who cares’ on the village website at stdennis.org.uk.
This book, researched and written by me with the help of many, but without the aid of computer, several years ago, is now inadequate.
As 2023 is the centenary of the unveiling of the memorial, it would seem to be an appropriate time to update ‘Who Cares’.
As before, I am seeking your help in asking for information and photographs about any of the individuals on our memorial at St. Dennis.

Any photographs would require the copywrite holder’s permission to be put on the website.
If all goes to plan, we should be able to introduce the updated ‘Who Cares’, possibly renamed ‘A Century of Remembrance’ in 2023
