St.Denys Parish Church - Festival of Christmas Trees
The festival, held over the weekend of 3rd and 4th December attracted many visitors, not just from the village, but from across Cornwall. Local community groups had decorated their trees, each one reflecting their organisation so creatively. All age groups and interests were represented and this was mirrored in the visitors to the church over the weekend. Several interactive activities kept young and old entertained along with musical performances from local organists and the St Dennis Youth Band. Bishop Hugh Nelson, Bishop of St Germans, joined us for the Sunday service and was warmly welcomed at an event that has become a much anticipated date on the calendar for the village.
