St Dennis Cancer Research Committee held its first meeting in January in 1962 and went from strength to strength thanks to its dedicated band of workers and the support of the local community.  By the summer of 2010 a total of £163,000 had been raised by holding a number of events including regular coffee mornings and table top sales, and generous donations for which we are very grateful. Monthly table top sales are still held on the last Saturday of each month at Claytawc from 10.00am, and coffee mornings take place on the second Tuesday of every month in the Working Men’s Club, also starting at 10.00am.
